When AI drafts your emails, posts and updates, people can tell. Connect Thirdraft to ChatGPT, Claude or any AI that supports MCP, and everything it writes for you comes back in your own voice, with the facts unchanged.
Works with
You asked your AI for a short, honest email about a delay. Here's what gives it away, and what Thirdraft sends instead.
Hi Dana, I hope this email finds you well! I wanted to reach out regarding an update to our launch timeline. Due to delays with our payments vendor, we've made the difficult decision to move the launch from May 12 to May 19. Rest assured, the pilot will remain at 50 seats, and we'll cover the extra week of support at no cost. Please don't hesitate to reach out!
What gives it away for this writer: an opener they never use, "I wanted to reach out", which isn't a phrase they use, "we've made the difficult decision", which is too dramatic for them, "rest assured", which isn't how they talk, and a sign-off that isn't theirs. In their own words: "Hi Dana, quick update: we're moving the launch from May 12 to May 19. Our payments vendor is running late and I'd rather not rush it. The pilot stays at 50 seats, and we'll cover the extra week of support, no charge. Any questions, just ask."
Ask the way you normally would, and add "run it through Thirdraft".
Follow-ups, updates and replies that sound like they came from you, not a template.
"Reply to Sam's email and say we can start Monday."
Posts that sound like you talking, not like every other AI post in the feed.
"Turn these notes into a post about our launch."
Weekly updates and announcements your team recognizes as yours.
"Write this week's update from these bullet points."
Longer documents that keep your voice from the first line to the last.
"Draft a one-page proposal for the Acme project."
Answers that feel personal, even when you're sending a lot of them.
"Answer this customer's question about refunds."
First impressions in your own words, so whoever reads it meets the real you.
"Write an intro email to the hiring manager."
Connect your AI below, add a few things you've written at thirdraft.com/app, then ask as usual and say "run it through Thirdraft". Put that line in your AI's instructions and it happens every time.
Add Thirdraft as a custom connector in ChatGPT's settings, under connectors, using this URL. Then sign in to Thirdraft.

Using another AI? Any assistant that supports remote MCP connectors can add Thirdraft with the same URL. More detail in the setup guide.
Thirdraft works in Zapier, Make and n8n through their web request step. Anything your automations write, like replies, follow-ups and posts, comes out sounding like you.
In Zapier, use Webhooks by Zapier; in Make, the HTTP module; in n8n, the HTTP Request node.
Included in every plan. Free accounts get 3 rewrites a week. Personal ($10/mo) gives you 150 a week and Pro ($20/mo) 375, shared across your AI and the website.
See pricing →No. If you can click a button or paste a link into your AI's settings, you can set it up. There's no code and nothing to install.
Yes. Add Thirdraft as a connector in ChatGPT's settings with the connector URL above, then sign in. Any other AI that supports remote MCP connectors works the same way. If yours doesn't, paste the draft into thirdraft.com/app: same voice, same account.
It changes how it's said, not what. Names, numbers, dates and commitments come back exactly as your AI wrote them.
The same as text you rewrite yourself: it's sent to Anthropic to write the rewrite and not stored. Your AI's rewrites are never saved as your samples, so they never teach Thirdraft what you sound like. See the privacy policy.
No. It can add samples you give it and read a short summary of your style, but it can't read your samples out or delete them. You manage those at thirdraft.com/app.
Free accounts get 3 a week, Personal 150 and Pro 375, counted together across your AI assistants, the website and Chrome. See pricing.
Call Thirdraft from your own code with an API key.
Thirdraft is a remote MCP server, so any HTTP client works. Create an API key under Connect an agent at thirdraft.com/app and send one request. Up to 8,000 characters per rewrite, 10 a minute.

| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
rewrite_in_my_voice | Rewrites text so it sounds like you, keeping every fact, name and number. Optional context, like "Slack update". |
add_writing_sample | Saves something you wrote, like a past email, so Thirdraft learns your voice. Never for AI-written text. |
get_my_voice | A short summary of how you write, so an agent can draft closer to you first. Read-only. |
check_status | Your plan and how much you have left today. Read-only. |
